A spin-to-win wheel for casual events
A prize wheel turns a simple reward into a moment. Classroom rewards, end-of-sprint awards, a raffle at a club night or a thank-you for volunteers all feel more exciting when the winner gets to spin. The wheel starts with eight sample prizes, including a “Try again” slice.
Set up your prize wheel
- Replace the sample prizes with your own. Keep names short so they fit on the wheel; the full text always shows in the result.
- Decide on the odds (see below) and add duplicate slices for common prizes.
- If each prize can only be won once, turn on remove-winner mode in Settings.
- Choose a color theme and an eight-second spin for maximum suspense.
Control the odds with duplicate slices
Every slice has the same chance, so the number of slices a prize has sets its odds. For example, with ten slices in total:
- Five “Sticker” slices: 50% chance.
- Three “Free coffee” slices: 30% chance.
- One “Gift card” slice: 10% chance.
- One “Try again” slice: 10% chance.
Shuffle the wheel afterwards so the duplicates are spread around rather than sitting side by side. Shuffling does not change the odds; it just looks better.
Giveaways and raffles: what to know
The wheel is great for informal draws where everyone can watch the spin. It is not an audited or certified raffle system: there is no independent verification, entrant management or record beyond your browser history. For official prize promotions, sweepstakes or raffles that involve money, check the rules that apply in your country and use a provider that meets them.
To draw a person rather than a prize, use the name spinner with the entrants’ names.
