A random food picker for hungry indecision
“What do you want to eat?” “I don’t know, what do you want?” A food picker wheel breaks that loop in seconds. The default slices are popular dishes, but the wheel is most useful when it lists the real options you have tonight.
Three ways to use the food wheel
Order in
List the restaurants you actually order from. Spin, then open that menu. Keeping the list to places you already like means you won’t land on something nobody wants.
Cook at home
Write down the meals you can make with what is already in the kitchen. Spin for tonight and you have a plan and fewer leftovers.
Plan the week
Add seven or more dinners, turn on remove-winner mode and spin once for each day. You get a varied weekly plan with no repeats, and the History tab doubles as the shopping list order.
How to spin for dinner
- Edit the list: remove dishes you don’t fancy and add your own.
- If someone has a dietary need, remove anything that doesn’t fit before spinning, not after.
- Press Spin and go with what the wheel says.
Settling a group dinner
In a group, let each person add one or two options. Everyone has had a say before the spin, so the result is easier to accept. If one person has a strong preference, they can add it twice; just agree on that rule before anyone presses Spin.
Planning a whole evening? Pair this with the movie picker wheel, or use the decision maker wheel for any other choice.
